M1W is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Management Services for the Salinas Storm Water Grant Project: Phases 1A Dry Weather Diversion and Phases 1B -Salinas Treatment Facility Storage and Recovery (Project). The qualified firm will provide construction management services using our Construction Management Software Procore (www.procore.com), and required inspection services during construction of the Project.

Unless otherwise indicated, pre-bid meetings are held at the Regional Treatment Plant (14811 Del Monte Boulevard, Marina).

Bids are publically open via the electronic bid management systems. Bidders may attend the opening at M1W Administrative Office, 5 Harris Court, Bldg. D, Monterey, CA 93940. Please contact the project manager for directions if needed.

Monterey One Water (“M1W”) will receive bids for the supply and delivery of nine different chemicals required for the 5 million gallon per day (mgd) product water capacity Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF), known as the Pure Water Monterey Groundwater Replenishment Project. 
•    Ammonium Sulfate
•    Ferric Chloride
•    Hydrogen Peroxide
•    Lime Slurry
•    Liquid Oxygen
•    Sodium Bisulfite
•    Sodium Hydroxide
•    Sodium Hyphochlorite
•    Sulfuric Acid
The chemicals subject to this procurement are detailed in the specifications attached to the Bid and Contract Documents (the “Chemicals”).  All Chemicals will be required to meet applicable American Water Works Association standards and specifications. 

Bids shall be received no later than February 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM.  Bids shall be valid for 60 Days after the bid opening date. Bids must be submitted on M1W’s Bid Forms.  

Bidders may propose to supply all, some or just one of the Chemicals.  Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder for each Chemical, as determined in accordance with the Bid and Contract Documents.  M1W may award up to nine separate contracts as a result of this procurement.

The Project work covered by the Project includes construction of the facilities for the Salinas Storm Water (Dry Weather Flow) Diversion and Salinas Treatment Facility Storage and Recovery Project that will enable Monterey One Water (M1W) to divert urban dry weather and storm water runoff to the wastewater collection systems for storage, treatment, and reuse.
Pump Station 13 Valve Replacement and Upgrades Project

This project includes mechanical and electrical upgrades to increase the pump station's reliability and to further protect the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. The project is currently being designed by V.W. Housen & Associates. Construction is expected to begin in April 2017.
